(Asian Translation: Wow! Look at Bonnie's fat legs!)
Western: Your thighs are thick. 
(Asian Translation: You are fat.)
Western: Did you train your legs?
(Asian Translation: You should train your legs to make them thinner.)
Western: Did you do squats?
(Asian Translation: You should do squats.)
Western: Your thighs are even thicker than the guy's. 
(Asian Translation: You are fatter than a guy, shame on you.)

This is what happened this afternoon, I mixed Taiwanese culture imply with Asian perspective of beauty together. I was saying that I'm gonna increase my western friend's rent. 

Western: Did I say anything wrong?
(Asian Translation: I did say something wrong.)

My another western friend only told me that big ass is a compliment, she didn't say thick legs also. She says when foreigners say compliments to me then I'm nationally pretty, gracias.
